    is there another fuel filter besides the one in the tank? I just replaced the pump with a svt focus pump. Also the car only has 18k on it.

    LOL, the good old bang to fix method....just like what you do when the solenoid on the starter is starting to go. I'd say its either the motor or the wiring. Slamming the door shut caused something to move....trace out the wiring and make sure its not frayed and also makes good clean contact...

    i checked that website out before, from what i read all it showed was just how to do it. Yeah i checked the fluid level, looks good and its nice and red. when did you buy the floor jack? sams club always rotates out their stock...but damn $59 for a full size is a great price!

    umm....does anybody on here actually know how a/c works...and how an alternator works? Max vs. low, will be about the same. A/C vs. windows down....on a city street will be about the same...on the highway, A/C will give you better gas mileage (windows down creates drag....watch the myth...

    I dont know what tranny i have, but its an 04 gt auto. I had to have the tranny rebuilt at 17k. BUT I do have a supercharger on the car, and i think previous owner beat the living hell out of it before they traded it in (bought the car with the supercharger already installed)
