    all the teeth on the flyweel seem a little bit worn, but that would not explain why it worked when i got the new starter and then it stoped working. it looks like normal ware to me. the starter actually does turn the engine sometimes when i put it back on but it just sounds horible

    ive already taken out afew peices of metal that was stuck in passages in the carb i put wd 40 on it- and that did not work never heard of pb blaster, ill look for it next time im at the store. the idea with tacking a nut on there sounds good, thanks
