    brake drums and rotors develop rust over a short period of time and will cause a grinding sound for the first few stops every DAY! this is normal. If you are hearing more than a light grind sound you need to jack up the car and put it on stands etc... wiggle the drive shaft, look at U-joints...

    I see hydrolocked motors all the time - usually it bends the rods - if you are lucky all you need to do is pull the plugs, drain all the fluids, spray penetrating fluid in the cylinders, put in cheap fresh oil, run it a bit and then drain it back out til it is all out.

    Why do ppl put flow restrictors in their heater cores?

    The Ford heater hose I bought recently had it built in too but if it did not I was going to use a cheap 3/8 drive socket that fit the hose inner diameter and hold it in place with a hose clamp - quick easy idea.
