    Making sub-frame connectors?

    You should be able to find subframes for around 100bucks, I bought the bolt in ones, and just welded them in. However mine were straight square tubing so they should be fairly easy to fab up if you choose.

    While it can be done, concensous seems to be find a car with a V8 allready if thats what your after. Allthough if the car is a steal and your not afraid of a lil work get it and have at it.

    Are the flaming river steering boxes the same between power steering and manual steering? I am looking to buy one but not sure if they are interchangeable. I want it to work with my 68 mustang with power steering 16:1 ratio. Thanks

    I agree a miller lincoln or hobart with the gas option is the way to go. I'd go ahead and spring for a autodark helmet around $200 but worth every penny IMO.

    I have a 68 mustang coupe w/302 auto that I want to replace the steering box in, I found the tag ontop of the box however it is complety rusted and illedgeable. Is there a way to identify what I have? or what should I replace it with? thanks

    it acts like its working, well kinda, but it hisses when you step on the brake pedel, and the car doesn't like to stop well.

    I dunno, still doesn't stop

    I adjusted the rears tighter tonight, and it seemed to help, however it still isn't right, the pedal gets hard after a few pumps and gives when you start it, verifying the booster is working, the bleeders are pointing upwards on the calipers. Im still wondering about that distribution block? I dunno

    Well all I have a 68 coupe that's all but done, but running into a problem that leaves me scratching my head going huh... :bang: anyways I have a 302 with power disk/drums I have a good 12-14 vaccum going to the booster, I've bench bled the new master twice, bled the brakes countless times...

    I've heard mixed stories about the door shells. Allthough its becoming harder and harder to find a good original door. btw I recently ordered a repro deck lid from NPD and it fits as well as the orginal.

    bedliner coating in trunk?

    I used the roll on bedliner in my trunk, off hand i don't recall the brand but Im happy with it.
