Need measurement between bolts for 65-66 dual exhaust hanger

Not sure how close to original you were looking for, but here is a pic of my old brackets. They actually have 3/8" studs and are held in place with a small screw. I'm sure 5/16 would be fine.

66 mustang, freshly installed C4 wont start!

what is voltage noise? If it is clicking, then it is not an issue with the neutral safety switch. (as Rusty stated) Check your main cable to the starter and the engine ground. Before replacing your solenoid, bypass the main terminals with a jumper cable to see if it cranks over.

I have th Hedman Shorty Elite headers with my AOD. I don't have Power Steering, but they shouldn't be an issue.

    Start switch issue

There should be a connector for the neutral safety switch in the engine compartment on the firewall near the accelerator pedal.

Preparing to make adjustable strut rods

I also made a set, but in the process of modding the clevis it BROKE. I didn't want that cast piece on my car under the stress of suspension forces, so I made some from 1/4" steel and had a buddy weld them for me.

Help! I'm being defeated by pulleys and belts

I too had issues when I installed my Vintage Air system. I couldn't use the three groove balancer pulley that came in the kit, because it had different spacing between the 1st and 2nd groove compared to the 2 groove 3G alternator and WP pulleys. I used 3 groove balancer pulley that was on...

Gas Tank filling - are all years difficult?

We have these large boot type which require you to put pressure on 'em against the filler neck and hold it tight to get the vapor recovery to operate. If you loose the seal, it kicks off. A real PITA.

    Which Headers??? 66 5.0 AOD

Specific for the Mustang, they fit '65 - '68 with SBF Hedman Hedders 88406 Summit Racing $300 I paid $280 in 2007 Was the price on the generic 5.0's for ceramic coating? I know that makes a big difference in price. Besides as mentioned, I don't think the Fox body 5.0 headers will work.

    Parking light wont light up

The switch may be different, but I'm not aware of any change in the tail lamp wiring.

    Parking light wont light up

Just a simple test light is all you need. Check the black wire/terminal coming out of the light switch. It carries the voltage to the rear taillamps/lic plate lamp.

    1967 radiator overflow

I think the plastic should handle the heat of the coolant. It doesn't gush out a bunch of hot coolant all at once. A normally operating system will only push out the coolant as it expands. Also there will already be some coolant in the tank at ambient temperture to mix with. You might have to...

    1967 radiator overflow

Vintage Air System doesn't. It comes with a block-off plate. It heats and cools in recirculate mode only. Like stated by robbz28, If fresh air is needed, crack a window.

    Heater Wiring (Painless)

I am assuming you are wiring it up for the 3 speed blower. Do you have the Blk/Wht wire connected to the Brn (904) wire?

    Bizarre alternator and starting issue

Here is a diagram for 3G conversion. The LtGrn/Red wire normally gets ignition voltage through the Alternator Warning Lamp. Since you have an Amp gage your system doesn't have one, so a 560 ohm resistor can be placed in-line to simulate the resistance of the bulb. It can be located any where...

    Bizarre alternator and starting issue

What is the voltage output when running? I don't think a stock ammeter will be very acurate with the 3G higher amps. The amp gauge "current loop" may also cause you issues if you are still using the stock harness. There should be about a 560 ohm resistor in-line with the green/red wire to...

    Taurus Fan Wiring Problem

The fan speeds are fixed (High, Low or Off). They do not vary. They are controlled by the relays which energize by the temp sender and contol circuitry. One input to the two Operational Amplifiers (Comparators) is tied to the 5V regulator and the other inputs are variable by the 10K pots. This...
