I was curious about these as well... but they just added them recently so I don't think anyone would have used them yet

New engine combo lurking.. looking for opinions please!!

Thanks for the info.. I'm not opposed to going turbo.. especially since I could probably build a kit for less than what the new blower would cost me. As far as goals go.. I'd like to be able to put down at least 600 at the tire.

1 more question.. did you end up have to use any washers as indicated in step 5 of the instructions?

New engine combo lurking.. looking for opinions please!!

I like the idea of a 408 but don't you guys think 185 trick flows is a bit too small for a 408? I would think that a 205 head would be more appropriate. As I said earlier I'm trying to reuse as much as possible. What would you guys think about a 363 dart stroker? Bigger than a 347 but should...

    Cheaper rear disc brackets...

My first thought was a cut off wheel. I guess I'll see what works best when the day actually comes. Other than that the install was straight forward using this method?

    Cheaper rear disc brackets...

I'm getting ready to do this myself instead of the north race brackets. I figure basically for the cost of the north race brackets alone I can get the entire cobra rear brake kit from ford and use this method. Seems more cost efficient as I'm also getting new rotors, dust shields, & moan...

New engine combo lurking.. looking for opinions please!!

I love turbo's but I think I'd rather just slap a supercharger on and call it a day. I should have said in my original post that I'm favoring a procharger system over the others anyway.

You don't think a kenne bell on a built 347 with supporting mods and tune can make 600 hp?

Ohh and I saw your recent thread.. Your car is sick... Great times at the track. Only question is how long that stock block will take the abuse!!!!!

New engine combo lurking.. looking for opinions please!!

Yeah I bought a used blower then ended up reselling it. I knew that it wouldn't keep me happy for long so I decided to hold off. I am doing the cobra brake swap and restoring the interior, doors, and other misc. things currently. I just scored original ford 5 lug R's with good tires for 150...

New engine combo lurking.. looking for opinions please!!

Yeah I figured my goals should be pretty easy to obtain.. I'm really looking for the set up to be streetable and fun to drive... As my car see's the track maybe 1-2 x per year and is on the street the rest of the time. I'm leaning towards the procharger or kb.... And either the boss block or...

New engine combo lurking.. looking for opinions please!!

Hey guys, I'm planning a new motor set up for my car. I'm planning on only getting a new shortblock and reusing my existing heads/intake and all other accessories. My goals are 600-700 hp on 93 octane, totally streetable, on 93 pump gas. Right now I'm leaning towards a ford strokers...
