    Front Suspension Help Needed

Shouldn't be any bushings... joint, boot, part, nut, cotterpin Rod ends can be handled on the street, however they will wear out faster due to more uneveness in the real world compared to tracks and it will be a harsher travel for that joint.

popping and backfiring out of exhaust

I have the same thing going on, bugs the heck outta me. I'm gonna check my vacuum lines again. Plugs didn't solve mine, I'd run regular, side gapped, and regular + MSD and no change...

    S197 wheels on a Fox

Mounting brackets for the 05's have the bolts spaced about 1" further apart than fox/sn95 spindles. You could theoretically redrill and fill the spindles to work, but then for all that time and energy cobra brakes are even better.

Info needed for Fox brake swap from S197

Hey everyone. I was thinking of adapting a set of 05 GT rotors and calipers onto the sn95 spindles I got for my 91 LX. I searched but only found one thread and one person that said the bolt pattern for the mounting bracket was 1" wider than the earlier models. I just wanted to confirm that since...

    69-70 Mustang Baer Brakes Installation

Put them on my 70 about a year ago... very straight forward. Came with all of the required stuff. Just have some good line wrenches for working on the old lines so you don't end up rounding them off or anything.

347 stoker engine. Brand new, custom built. How do I sell it?

Also try finding some vintage mustang places... it has a 28oz balance so it's not applicable for later models... good luck

    Seafoam sucks!!!!!!!!!

I think that should fix it I think... I always used stuff like that when I got a new car for the first oil change because I had no idea when the previous owner 'really' changed the oil. It thins it out and makes it run like water. Good oil + filter is Doc Swede's reccomendation as well. Take...

    Seafoam sucks!!!!!!!!!

Well, I personally haven't ever used it, but my buddy says it works great if you pour it into your intake to clean your intake valves. And yes it does smoke like crazy when you do that. I'm not sure whether or not it acts the same as B-12 when you put it 'in' your oil, because if it does it...

    16" wheels - '65 coupe

I was running 16x8s on my 70 with 4.5" backspacing. I had some trouble with the upper control arms rubbing at full lock of the steering wheel, just ground down the arms a bit. Tires were 245/50/16 for me, not sure but might be a bit large for yours. Probably like a 225 series would fit well.

    New Shifter...

Just installed an MGW on my 91 LX, love it so far. Made a cue ball knob for it! 360* adjustment + cue ball FTW!! :hail2:

    need part numbers for Autozone

Don't know what plugs, but the belt would be either 705K6 for a kelly-springfield (duralast) or like 4060705 for good year. obviously if they don't offer one another might be close.... 1/2" can normally squeak you buy, but for some reason that size sounds familiar... so you will probably get lucky

tech/mental help needed: i believe i just cant continue with this any longer

Another vote for non-rtv on the intake gaskets... I'd recommend some kind of gasket shellac like Indian Head or something like that. Normall comes in little cans with a brush- brush on all surfaces, let it get tacky, apply gasket and torque down. Normally good to go immediately.

EFI fuel question - what connector is this?

Depending on how much pressure you plan to run... I know at AZ we sell replacement fuel line sections. It has about an 18" section of the plastic line and the plastick clip-lock connection on the end. Just an idea...

    I suck at teh shiftering...

I think the spring is either busted or not there.... it has like no return to center. When I'm running it I have to basically jam it into the side of the gate in second and push up for it not to hit the gate between 1 and 3, which it what it did every time. I need a lot of practice cause yeah, I...

    I suck at teh shiftering...

Well, I've got 2 weeks left before heading to Quanitico for training so I thought I'd better take my new car down to the track before I go. It's a 91 LX hatch, 306 and a T-5 Z. I've had it about 4 weeks, and that's about how long I've been driving stick  So we get down to the track and...

Media Blasted, Primer or Metal Work First?

I think you should primer it... that way you avoid the reasoning for the media blasting in the first place, and any place that chips/cracks/etc the primer can just be re primered and then blocked down for paint

    rino Lining the interior?

I saw an entirely rhino lined 60's bronco the other day... actually looked pretty badass. Don't rhino line the interior.. if you're looking for sound deadning... there are some spray on products that would work well and be easier to take off. For sealing just get some por-15... it works...
