A console is born!!! Well, almost...

bnickel is almost right... I'm 20 going on 21 in 3 months :nice: PB- yeah, unfortunately with the design I had, only one cupholder may be able to fit. THough, I still haven't looked at the peices I'm using, depending on how big they are, I may be able to fit two in. I'm following Jeff's usage...

A console is born!!! Well, almost...

Thanks for the comments guys... I think some are still confused as to how it's going in. The tall part is the armrest... the cd player is going to be pointing forward. It's different, and I'm trying to make a custom bezel for the stock location out of sheet metal so mount guages, switches, etc...

A console is born!!! Well, almost...

No no, I guess I was confusing in my post. The CD player is going to go in the vertical part (player mounted horizontally) right behind the cup holder level. It's not going to feed vertical, but that is a pretty cool idea. The Swede

    17x8 w/ 4.25" BS -- Fit a 70?? (I checked the chart)

I think the normal bs is 4.5" ... if I'm thinking right, I'm not sure if the wheel will contact the upper control arm at that amount... The Swede

Well everyone, since I just purchased my brakes (12" Sport Baers for the front   :nice: :nice: ) I've been looking for fairly inexpensive things to do to my car. I saw the post about the humphugger debate and decided to follow some of the other SNers in making my own...

How to fix the "Christine" syndrome...

How to fix the "Christine" syndrome...? Ok my car is really starting to piss me off... lately it has been staying on more and more when I pull the key out. I replaced the lock cylinder already, and that helped. As far as I can tell, the switch or part of the lock cylinder is getting stuck in...

Why are my headlights/interior lights flickering?

My guess would be headlight switch, feel underneath the dash on the switch itself when it starts doing it and see if it gets hot. If it gets too hot, it will start to flicker the lights on and off. That's what mine did in my '70. I replaced the switch with a '67 cougar one (more amperage)...

What to do: Keep car from gettin stolen.

Currently I have just a fuel pump cutoff switch installed on mine... but none of the friends whom I've showed it too could find it! Darn those camoflaged switched, darn them all to heck! :) There is still enough gas in the line to run for about 1/4 mile, add to that normally my car is parked...

Tranny Qs and a decision to make...

Well, for the past couple months I've been having a little trouble with my C4. IT'll shift fine in the morning, but once I go for a drive or start idling around somewhere there will be this really nasty sound and slip from 1st to 2nd. I thought it might be the bands so I went ahead and adjusted...

to scoop or not to scoop

Corpse, I keep going over the same argument in my mind... what to do about the hood so i can finally decide on the paint. One suggestion I got on the board a while back was using the Cougar Eliminator scoop. Same basic proportions of Boss'9 scoop but it is 1" shorter (I think). It's...

ford blue: Grabber blue, acapulco (sp) blue?

My dad used to have a 65 fastback that was a dark blue... but he got tired of it and wanted to try grabber blue.... HE HATED IT! Some cars can wear different colors well, others can't. At least in my oppinion the 1st gen stangs don't look very good in grabber blue. I would say Guardsmen Blue-...

    1967 shelby gt500 VS 1999 skyline gt-r r34 v-spec

On topic: I believe 1/4mi times would definitely favor the skyline, not only is it awd, but even in rwd config I'm sure it would put the power to ground more easily. Now the supersnake and a skyline... hmmm, might be fun to watch. Off topic: I'm with 65straightstick... -grabbing popcorn-...
