    Thinking about electric water pump

I have the Meziere unit on my car. It has only been on for about 4 months of daily driving, and now it is down for the count, so it won't see any more street time till I get a new shortblock done. It is a really nice piece. I put a Fluidyne in at the same time, and it could be hot as hell...

New goodies! Need a gear install how-to

I just put an Eaton carrier, and Superior 31 spline axles in this week. I had problems with the end of the axle being too long. I got everything together, and I couldn't get the pin through the carrier. It was hitting on the very end of the axles. I measured the little end of the axles just...

500 or more RWHP cars and transmissions

I have a T-56 Viper spec in the car right now with a Zoom stage 3 clutch setup. The tranny has been in there for about 2 years without any issues. Last year I was running around at 487 rwhp, and this year it put down 511 rwhp. I am very happy with the choice to go with the T-56. It shifts...

    clutch pedals??

The pedal assemblys should be the same for 94 - 98 model cars, so the 96 pedals will work. Although I am not 100% on it, I can't imagine that the pedals out of a GT or non GT would be different from each other.

    Fastest gone in stang?

Fastest I have going in mine was 126MPH. At least that is what my timeslip from the dragstip said. :D

who daily drives their 94-95 gt/cobra?

In the spring summer and fall I daily drive mine. About 86,000 miles and 511rwhp. I get on it here and there. Most of the time it is just 1/4 to 1/2 throttle though.

Sweet, that looks awesome. Should be even more killer after you make the adjustment.

The old car held together - DYNO NUMBERS

I would like to try and turn the timing up a little bit just to see what I could really get out of it, but I think I'll wait till I upgrade the lower end.

Why do FMS plug wires come with the wrong end?

I didn't know what the hell to think when I was putting them on. I had to check the box twice to make sure it said for 94-95 mustangs. If I had tall valve covers, I don't think they would have fit.

The old car held together - DYNO NUMBERS

So far it is an untouched stock short block. I know it is on borrowed time, hopefully its time won't run out before this winter. My plan is to have a Dart Sportsman 364 built and upgrade the fuel system. I have the 375 ml nozzle in there. I thought about upgrading to the next size nozzle...

The old car held together - DYNO NUMBERS

So far I have done all the work and tuning myself. The closest track to me is Rock Falls Raceway. It is a little south of Eau Claire. I think GLD is about 250 miles from me.:( Someday I would like to go there, I have heard good things about it.

Why do FMS plug wires come with the wrong end?

Heh, I did the same thing. But I just recently ditched the FMS wires and went with some MSD ones.

    Boost Gauge

I have a Boost/Vac gauge, and a Fuel Pressure gauge mounted on the A-Pillar. Like was already mentioned I like to look at them to verify nothing has changed. I watch that the vacuum is the same as it always is, and that the boost goes to the level I expect. All in all I don't look at...

The old car held together - DYNO NUMBERS

I was seeing about 10 PSI of boost. I am pretty surprised by how well the combo has done. this is the first car I have ever really tried modifying, so I half expect it to blow up each time I put my foot to the floor.:D The traction isn't too bad since I got the new 315 Nitto drag...

The old car held together - DYNO NUMBERS

My fuel pressure regulator seemed to have changed, so I set it back to 39, and have been watching it. Today I went back to the dyno to make sure my a/f ratio was right. I was glad I went. On the first pull, the ratio went up above 13:1 at 5000 rpms. After some tuning and dialing in, I...

Issues with the adjustable fuel pressure regulator

I have been watching it very closely each time I get in the car, and so far it has stayed since I set it. I'll probably just bite the bullet and get a different one. The fuel filter and pump are no that old, so I am leaning toward a funky regulator.
