The car was at a car show i went to yesterday, im not sure what the clothespins are for. The exhaust pipes were made out of two pieces of gutter! There were alot of mustangs there mostly 65-71s. Heres one with some nice paint
My 90 mustang gt has recently developed a miss in fifth gear when you start to climb hills, the rpms are at about 1500 or so when it misses. It used to climb hills in fifth with no problem. Any ideas where to start? thankx
in my opinion, if you plan on doing any mods to the car then you need to do the mass air swap, as far as the heater core, its cheap anyways but i don't think there IS a "faster" way.
I always hear everyone say how the cobra is rated at 235 and the gt were rated at 225. Are they telling me that the cobra only has 10 hp difference with better heads, cam, cobra intake, hell they even came with 24# injectors right? how is that only worth 10hp over stock?
o.k, so i guess im going to install the "new baffle":nice: . Where do i get one? I also did a search and someone had a pic of the new baffle installed but now i cant find it, anyone know where i can get this pic? Thankx for the replies!!
What exactly is the difference between the original cobra intakes and the ones that you can get from blue oval industies. The only difference i see is that one of them says" made in china". Why is it called a "replica".
Here is a pic of the one i just got all the parts for, it looks almost as low as the one in your pics, but to answer your question, just swap in some stock springs
What size valves are in gt40p heads? Ive seen some that have a 1.84 intake or something like that but the ones i ordered new came with 1.94intake/1.54.
Im currently running ford racing shorty headers, a stock h pipe with the cats gutted out and flowmaster 40s with tails. The question is would it be better if i bought an o/r/h/ pipe? Would the sound change any if i had mandrel bent tailpipes instead of the ones i have now?
