Nitrous needs HP or HF Walbro?

Great to hear. This is what I have been eyeballing, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/WALBRO-255-FUEL-PUMP-FORD-MUSTANG-1985-1997-ALL-MODELS_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33555QQitemZ8010977656QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW but I remember some people saying that the high pressure unit should only be used in...

Nitrous needs HP or HF Walbro?

Hey all, Stockpiling buildup parts and have a quick fuel pump question. Will be running a 331 with HCI and a likely 125 shot. Been surfing ebay and all the pumps I've found are the high pressure units. Any downside to putting that into a non-blown auto? Thanks

    Posi is toast?

Thats generally what I was thinking. Cause I swear something shattered back there, but thought it was just me hearing things since the car drove fine. Thanks for the input.

    Posi is toast?

Ok, here's the scoop. I got my 3.73s in probably about a year ago. I recall being very impressed with my hard launching and whatnot. That day, I took the car to the track. When I launched, I really felt that seat of the pants kick, but also the sound of something like glass shattering...

Do I need to hammer the bearings on?

Yup, I got the SS lines, the new caliper and the new rotor with seal and bearings on the driver's side in like 20 minutes. Maybe I'll try and sand the right side spindle a bit to ease it on there.

Do I need to hammer the bearings on?

My problem is not getting the bearings into the rotor, and yes the rotors do already have the races in them. My problem is that the bearings dont seem to want to slide onto the spindle.

Do I need to hammer the bearings on?

Putting new rotors on my car and decided to replace the seal and the bearings as well. They don't seem to want to just slide on. Am I supposed to have to hammer them?

    Twin Superchargers?

Turbochargers are "powered" by exhaust gas and thus its easier to find room for them considering you can move them all around in your engine bay. Since superchargers need to be powered by your serpentine belt, it'd be pretty difficult to find enough space for them in that limited area...

    Layers of NXT

    Help! Need 1993 Cobra info/documentation

Keep it 100% stock and for god sake, dont drive it as your daily driver. That thing is going to be worth more $$$ than it already is quick. Hell, I'd leave it in the garage and never let it out.

Will performer RPM heads fit on an otherwise stock 302

Will they? Friend says that with the stock cam I shouldn't have a problem while my other friend said I'd have to notch the pistons. Anyone have any first-hand experience?

To adjust or non adjust? (UCA's)

A very good local mechanic once told me that being able to adjust any part of your car to your exact liking is a great thing to have. $20 sounds pretty cheap to be able to have that kind of insurance. Personally, I'd think that having adjustable LCAs would benefit you more as you could raise or...

Rearview mirror fell off. Need help

That's normally how it happens, the little metal piece slides in and out of the mirror. Just take a screwdriver and hammer it out. You should be able to pull it out with plyers even. Once you have it out, just reglue it and let it dry for a little bit and then you slide the mirror assembly back...

    rear disc upgrade

Did you mess with the proportioning valve to make the rear brakes more relevant? Obviously you dont want to lock up the rears ahead of the front brakes, but I wonder if you have them running at full potential?

    Relocating my overflow bottle....

Ditto, the factory shroud is designed to basically pull air from across the entire radiator. Without a shroud you may notice some cooling problems and high temps at idle/lower speeds. I'd think you'd be able to run the Taurus fan, if you already have it, without doing an alt upgrade. I have dual...
