Will performer RPM heads fit on an otherwise stock 302

Will they? Friend says that with the stock cam I shouldn't have a problem while my other friend said I'd have to notch the pistons. Anyone have any first-hand experience?

You will be fine with the 1.9/1.6 valves..you will need the bushings for the head bolts to mount the heads.

With the 2.02 intake valves P to V clearance becomes an issue....You may be able to run a very small cam, but I wouldn't guarantee that it would work.

I thought the Eddy's were some of the only heads to have 2.02" intake valves to work with stock pistons? I guess if you run a bigger cam then you can run into problems. My TFS heads have 2.02" intake valves, I'm running the stage 1 cam with .499" lift on intake, and have no problems. Might wanna check the valve angle and compare the two before assuming they will work.

Trick Flow are the only ones that I'm aware of that you can run the stock pistons with 2.02 valves.

I agree with mave......

I have performer five-0's on mine. They are the 190/160's. I think only trick flow has the 202 that will work with stock.
