Well, I have called and talked to numerous people and tried to figure out why my car is slow as a honda with nitrous. People have told me that my intake is too big for my setup and that I am loosing tons of bottom end, and that is true. The moment I put this intake on, I lost tons of bottom...
gt40p's and gt40 intake?
im not a fan of the gt40p, I don't think they are worth it, but if you are getting the gt40 intake, I would get that and sell the heads, depending on how much it will run ya.
I would think something is wrong there, I can't even pull mine out of gear without pushing the clutch.... maybe you have a transmission with straight cut gears like nascar, that would be cool
dang, I picked up my SVO 1.6's (FMS) for 100 bucks.....
I don't really see any difference, of course one is ford and the other is crane, anything ford is going to be more expensive. I would get the crane's, had them on mine, worked great.
Proform and Black magic are direct bolt ins... also the ford taurus fan is easy to put in, and cheap.
When I did my fan, I could tell a difference in the top end a little.... it also revs quicker. But with my underdrives I can't keep up on the electricity.
Did you have any problems with the TFS 1 cam and clearance, I want to run it with my 1.6's and Cobra GT40 Heads... will I need to switch out springs or anything?

I was just wondering what would be better, dropping some weight and cooling it down better, or...
I was just wondering if maybe my clutch is slipping a little and that is the reason my car is slow. It seems like I go and it revs up consistantly but doesn't really go. It grabs, but not REALLY hard and it is the stock one so I don't know. I'll be more detailed, I slam the pedal to the...
yeah, but I have talked to tons of people.... I talked to summit tech about the TFS1 cam and they say that it won't make that much of a difference, they say that it isn't that much of a change from the one I have in there now. I also told them that some people said to advance it 4 degrees to...
In this months 5.0, or MM&FF, they tested a few intake manifolds on the 347.... even the BBK SSI. Well, they lost 28 ft/lbs of torque using the Trickflow Street Heat, which is exactly what I got. I don't know if the same principles apply to the 302, just a few more cubic inches. But, I knew I...
I think the "tooth off" thing came from MTV's Real Life of a Street Racer.... he was working on his car and said that he was off a tooth. That is the only time I have heard of it.
