    Broken Intake Bolt

This saved my ass once, so maybe it will work for you. I broke a bolt down deep once and I used a small punch and a hammer and painstakingly chisled enough of a groove that I was able to use heat and a flat head screwdriver to work it out. I don't know without looking at the car or seeing a...

    Burned cobra mustang, brake questions

It would be a good time to upgrade the brakes to something performance. How many miles were on the old ones before they 'burned up'?

    help with rear axle....

And of course, be sure to add the correct amount of fluid and some friction modifier when you put it all back together. To remove the axle bearing, find something to pull it out with and use a socket or wood to drive it back into position. Just make sure it is in all the way.

    help with rear axle....

What I was asking was, has the car been hit in the rear on the driver side or is this something that isn't collision related. The best way to go would be to get a Ford shop manual, or at least a Haynes which would outline the procedure. If it's axle replacement, you will need to disassemble...

    Trouble starting tonight

Take your starter in to be tested first. 99.9% of the time this is it, especially if you can push it and start it by popping the clutch. Regardless of the year, some last longer than others but they all fail eventually. Did you hear it engage when you turned the key?

    help with rear axle....

If you were hit by another vehicle, turn it in to insurance, if possible. What part of the car got hit?

    Trouble starting tonight

It sounds like the starter since you were able to push start it. When you turn the key listen for the starter to click and engage just before the motor turns over. Most parts stores will test if for you for free if you take it in.

    Piece of sh_t mustangs.

Not to implicate you or anything, but I think it comes down to how you drive your car. I drive mine reasonably most of the time and I don't have any problems. A friend of mine has an automatic and constantly does neutral drops and peels out like he is racing everywhere. He has had trans and...

    Something Rattling While Accelerating!

This could be alot of things especially depending on mileage on the odometer. Pick up an automotive stethoscope and use it to pinpoint the location. It probably does it all the time but you only notice it at higher rpms or WOT. I had the same prob with my '96 GT and it was worn out timing...

    ball joint?

Yeah like mustanglx-5.0 said, take it to a shop and have them pressed in and out if you don't own a press. I had Meineke do mine for $25. It beat the hell out of alot of hammering and beating the crap unintentionally out of something if I were to miss.

    turn signal fix?

It's like that to tell you your turn signal bulb is out on whichever side it blinks fast on. Either the front or rear signal, or the one that doesn't work. In your case, the front. If you fix it and the light still doesn't flash on the dash then you'll need to replace the bulb in the dash as...

    3.73 Trac-Loc

Shouldn't be too tough if you have prior experience. It's simply a lot of disassembly and reassembly. Make sure you have the correct pinion depth or you could have problems.

    V6 Engine and trans mounts

Your stock ones are fine. My GT has 154k on it and it's doing fine. Spend the money on something else.

    Just got my sn95 v6

I agree, run a dual exhaust. I'm planning to run a performance exhaust with true dedicated dual pipes out the back. That single pipe out the back kinda looks goofy.

3.8 v6 convertible purchase questions please

Yeah the '95 vert I purchased with a bad tranny had the AODE. The newer 4r70w is much better, especially a 2000 model.
