Will 94 MustangRear Disc Brakes Bolt up to a 1990?

I used the Ford ranger axles on my rear brake swap and I am running 275/40 17's on 98 Mustang GT rims. The clearance is fine everywhere, and I didn't have to roll the fenders. I did have to adjust the exhaust to keep it from rubbing on the tires.

Rear main seal leaking after sitting for a couple days

My rear main seal started leaking almost immediately on my newly rebuilt engine. I've been told it is a common problem with the 5.0 motors. But maybe I'm wrong.

    Ok i adjusted my timing....

Do you have a surging problem at idle? If that is the problem did it start after you installed a different camshaft? I know the fuel injected cars are very sensitive to different camshafts and may require increasing the idle speed to 1000rpm to relieve the surging idle problem. I had the problem...

Stock 95 GT front brakes, rear 03 Cobra brakes.

I cannot remember what year cobra the rear brakes came off of, but I do have the north racecar brakets on there and they fit perfectly. Oh, and they will work without the anti-moans but I would suggest getting them as the rear brakes will make an annoying moan noise (hence the name) every time...

Stock 95 GT front brakes, rear 03 Cobra brakes.

I have cobra front and rear brakes on my 86. I tried the SN95 V6/GT master cylinder and it was extremely stiff, and I hated it. So I switched to the SN95 Cobra MC and the pedal feel is much better (softer) so I would suggest it.

    3 g alternator into 84

You can make the wiring yourself if you have the connectors, but I posted a link below to the harness I used to put a 3G on my 86 stang. If you scroll down you will find the pulleys as well. Honestly though I have underdrive pulleys and I left the larger pulley on the alternator and I still get...

    3 points or sub frames?

I guess I forgot an important point. The BMR piece must be welded on so unless you do it yourself that is an additional cost. Though BMR says it is not necessary to remove your carpet so it should be an easier job than on other cars.

    3 points or sub frames?

At $10 more the BMR Boxed HD Subframe Connectors are both subframe connectors and torque box stiffeners (which is what the Steeda brace does). A lot of people will say you don't need subframe connectors because the new cars are 30% stiffer than the older generation cars, and unless you plan...

I'm no mechanic, but this won't work...

I'll give a second vote for the hammer. I had to dent my headers as they were touching the steering shaft. As for clearance, just put the headers back in and turn the steering shaft. If it doesn't touch and you have solid motor mounts you should be okay. If you don't have solid motor mounts you...

    ignition boxes

Like HISSIN50 said you should really decide what you want the car to be in the end, in other words, what kind of driving you want to do? A cruiser, a drag race car, an autocrossing car etc. because modifications may differ (especially with respect to suspension) between them. Then decide on your...

    Weight question

I'm not sure about the weight of the SN95s although I know they are lighter but here are some weights from the S197s. From Car and Driver: 2005 Mustang GT w/ Manual Tranny = 3575 lbs From Motor Trend: 2008 Roush Stage 2 w/ Manual Tranny = 3592 lbs : 2008 Saleen S281...

Moto Blue UDP's, anyone using these?

I've ordered from them a couple of times over the past year and a half and my orders were always shipped fast and with no problems. Therefore, I've never dealt with customer service. That being said many stangnet members really don't seem to like RPM Outlet. I'm wondering how far back in the...

Finally going legit, check out this mustang

Parts of the stock exhaust are free flowing and some parts aren't. The exhaust manifolds only have a 2 inch opening where it bolts to the down tube (have to unbolt the downtube to see), and the factory used 2 1/4 inch pieces on both sides of the catalytic converters (easily seen on car). The...

Don't like the stock headrests, try this....

I'm not a big fan of the stock headrests either. I've gotten used to the positioning for normal driving, although when I first got the car they were really distracting. The problems now is that the driver's side head rest is always in my way when I look out the driver's side quarter panel to...

    Dynoed Today

I figured my car would make close to 300 on a Dynojet so I was expecting 290+ on the mustang dyno. But yeah, I'm really glad the Shelby showed up for comparison. If it had not I would feel pretty bad. I figure the Shelby should be slightly better than stock so I'm pretty happy with 30hp better.
