    I'm pretty sure that still doesn't work. It "unlocks" the SCT tuner...but since its not married to his new ECU/PCM he STILL can't use it to TUNE the car. So its still useless without SCT touching it -I THINK-

    The car has a 2.81" pulley on it which makes 14.5psi boost I believe. I'm still kinda learning as I go, about these cobras and the blowers.

    Call them and find out. Hope it works out for you :nice: FYI they are $380 NEW + additional money if you want more tune slots. So for $200 + $100 to unlock it again, you're still making out by $80-100 bucks....now is that savings worth the hassle of all that? who knows :shrug:

    Yeah sure is, can't wait to take her to the track!! To be honest the car is almost TOO fast for a daily driver. Going to work I just want to HAMMER her but i can't because by the time you even THINK about gunning it the car is already doing 20 over the speed limit and you have to let off...

    The guy probably did revert it back to the stock tune, but SCT X-cals are programmed to the ECU (computer) code of the specific vehicle. But if you call SCT and make up a story like you sold your other car but kept the X-cal and now need it for your new car...(lol) you can have them unlock it...

    Normally the signs of a bad alternator are the battery light comes on in dash, however, once you accelerate and get higher in the RPM range, the failing alternator will kick in and the battery light will go out, due to the acceleration makes the alternator work faster and gets it moving again...

    When does this noise happen? at idle? at highway speeds? at maybe just a few thousand RPMs over idle? I would think if it were a idler pulley or any pulley problem, you would hear that with the engine running with the hood up right away. if not, putting a load on the motor (driving basically)...
