    Took silencer out...car sputering

    I've had this happen to me with my 98. I found that my vacuum hose came loose and the car went crazy. Put it back on, clamped it, and it was fine. :flag:

    I realize that replicas would be cheaper than the real deal, but where in the heck did you find these for $554 shipped? Link to a website perhaps? Sounds almost too good to be true. :flag: I got a set of Cobra R Replicas - chrome for $800 shipped and thought that was a good price.

    Everybody is different but I listened to the clip for the loudmouth. To me it sounds like a 1983 MAC dump truck. Sounds like its coming from straight from the manifolds. :flag:

    Yes it is different with the 98's. I was thrilled when I found only 4 on my 04. Another one of the reasons the 99+ sounds so much better than stock 98's and older.

    Header install 99+ do it yourself or not?????

    You have to take the rotors, calipers, springs all out before you can do the install??? Arg!!!! I was just hoping to lift the car and have at it. Say it isn't so. :(

    I wouldn't even attempt it on my old 98 due to having to loosen the motor mounts and jacking the engine up slightly to fit. Are the 99's easier? I'm sure as hell not going to pay somebody to do a bolt on. Thanks. :flag:
