    I've done the H rated tire swap and did not like the results. I didn't like the ride quality and handling was degraded. I'd look for a z or higher rated tire with longer tread wear. imho.

    Yes. GTs come with 2.25" catted h-pipe. If you have no cats you have an aftermarket mid-pipe.

    Makes sense to me as the sohc 4.6 stops making power around 5-5.2k unless it's been modified. So why push the engine past the top of the power curve.

    OK - opinion. I think with magnapacks with an h-pipe sounds deeper than with an x-pipe. The exhaust combo you are suggesting I think would be down right annoying.

    275s on a 17x8?

    my 275's do rub slightly up front when the steering wheel is turned to the extreme like when you are parking. they do not rub when driving. Just my opinion but I'm not crazy about the way 275's look on a 17x8 rim. 17x9's with 275's on the back is the way to go if money is not an issue.

    I've had that experience with mobile 1. Mobile 1 is a true synthetic. Almost all other synthetics on your store shelf are "fake" synthetics. Fake synthetic oil or hydrocracked oil begin life as a regular oil then it undergos additional refining. Hydrocracked oil does not suffer loss like Mobile...
