Hey What's up everbody,
I've have an 02 Saleen.
My problem is with the exhaust. It currently has 2 1/2" piping consisting of manifold then X-pipe with converters then flowmasters.
The sound is not even close to what I want. I've want the loud deep throaty sound, And now it's kind of quite and raspy, from what I understand it's the x pipe w/ cats that is making it quiet and raspy. My main goal is sound. So for the sound do I have to put headers and a new mid-pipe (H-pipe w/ out cats). Or can I just hook up a new H-pipe w/ out cats and accomplish what I am looking for?
Hopefully I can save some money and just do the mid pipe.
