    I'm very very happy with my daily driver. 2007 Mazda Mazdaspeed3. Don't know that it's my dream d.d., but seeing your criteria, it would probably be my number 1 pick. 265hp stock and still gets mid 20's for mpgs. Oh and a pic:

    I shift at 5800-6000 when racing and about 3000 when just cruising around. Don't really drive the mustang economically since it's not my daily.

    Finally did it!! NEW PB!!!

    Thanks guys! Launching around 4500 and slipping the clutch out. Not entirely sure what the weight is. Never had the car weighed. Weight reduction included pass. seat, back seats, spare tire, jack and front sway bar. And the I run with between 1/4-1/2 tank of gas.

    So Friday night I made a last minute decision to go to the local track to get a few more runs in for the year. So glad I did. First of all, there was no one there. At the end of each run, if I got back in the staging lanes there were only 2-4 cars ahead of me. It was that way all night long...

    Capitol - Sunday Mar. 28 Hey guys. Planning on making a trip to Capitol this sunday to get more runs on the mustang. Their test and tune session begins at 12 and ends at 5. Gates open at 11:30. I know it's not Cecil, but I need to get as many runs in as I can.
