    Ok so the car has been sitting for the past 10 years and I'm getting her back on the road. I ran new parking brake cables today and didn't insert a pin in the ratcheting mechanism when I took the cables off. Is there a how to somewhere on how to wind the spring back the correct way?

    ok so im pretty sure its coming from the back of the car. I greased my lower control arms and it is still doing it. It seems to only do it when going slow and turning sharp. What could it be?

    I got it. There was a clip holding the fitting to the bracket I pulled the clip and dropped the fitting. I was unable to get it out in one piece. This has me worried because I need to get the new one in in one piece. Any idea what size fitting I need to get? Also what flaring tool will I need?

    the bracket is riveted to the body of the car and I need to pull the line up to get it out. There is not enough clearance between the bracket and the body to get it out.

    The car is an 01 mustang, the tranny makes a whinning sound when in neutral, when you shift into drive it sounds fine. it shifts fine untill around 40 or so mph. then the rpms clime and the car does not go anywhere, could this be anything besides the od band being fried?
