A/C clutch bushings

Clutch bushings? Not sure what you are talking about. The whole clutch is like $100. The largest problem is that the design on the clutch changes from year to year, and the parts from different clutch models are not interchangeable. So you end up having to replace the whole clutch if one part fails.

He probably sheared one or more of the 3 facets/rivets on the front of the clutch.

As noted, you can just replace the clutch. You can loan out a clutch holder tool but I find it easier to use a prybar with square sides (just wedge it between two of the rivet heads). You'll also need feeler gauges to set the air gap.

It's real easy to swap out.

Good luck.

You need to rent the tool from Autozone that pulls the pulley and magnet off the compressor. You can probably just hammer it off, but your risk damaging it, and the tool is a free rental. The tool that holds the clutch face in place while you tighten the bolt is also a free rental.
