    1997 Cobra stalls when braking...

Hello everyone, I picked up a 97 Cobra today and was told by the seller that the car did this. It drives terrific, has 142000 on it. When I brake hard and soft to come to a stop, the engine dies. It starts right back up though. It doesnt happen all the time. I was also told it does not have...

97 Cobra head swat and blower.

That's supposed to be "Head Swap" Has anyone done this before? Is it a feasable swap for the 99 heads to go on my car so I could use the intercooled twinscrew blowers as opposed to just getting a KB non-int. blower. I want to get screwed.

Why do we love fox bodies?

I had an 83 GT in high school, I loved beating the other camaros and older muscle cars at my school. I was however, intrigued by another car that impressed me and made me get a crush on it. It was a dark blue Buick T-type. Ill have another one one day, but that's where the cheap comes in for our...

My car is dyno tuned....Wow, check out the results...

That sounds like a good solid combination netting great results. What do you think it'll take to get 500 at the rear wheels?

    need combo suggestions

My 84 had a roller block, air gap rpm intake, 1" open spacer, e-cam, 750 vac sec. LT's, flows, h-pipe, 5 speed. 3.55's. I don't have any time slips, but it would scream. With afr's, and a nice cam, dr's, and gears in an 8.8 that would be pretty hot.

    Statement about new Camaro

OMG, What have I started here...Only a dang good thread! Welcome back Camaro, smack talking for years to come! Speaking of "Ifs", and all the fans of that here, I always wanted Ford to go head to head with Chevy with the 351 (5.8) motor. It was already rollerized, why not slap on some...

    Statement about new Camaro

Wellllll, we have gone into a different direction since I last was here...LOL Of course I put this to Mustang guys, because that is who reads here (Mostly). I have looked at our cars, like my Fox coupe, as underdogs and I love taking Corvettes and their rich owners. But that's Mustang...

    Statement about new Camaro

Don't know if it's been posted yet, but I was reading the latest Motor Trend about the (Enemy) newest Camaro coming out. One of GM's Chief Engineer's, Al Oppenheiser, said, "We stopped bringing Mustangs to our development rides because they were so far behind us in our rearview mirror."...

    New Mustang drag series?

Did anyone read lately about the new drag series where it's stick only? I remember seeing it, and thought it was a cool idea. This really takes driving back to it's roots. Where someone may have a faster car, but if you shift slow, you're out. Making the lost art of shifting come in to play is...

Timing mod, just want to make sure..

Im doing the timing mod today, adv it from stock. Now, do I start the car, THEN remove the spout, or remove it first and start the car? What will this give me power wise, I tried looking up testing on it, but could not find anything.
