    help broken C4

    sounds like the linkage is catching on something within the case... a friend of mine had a similar problem; we pulled the pan and found a broken band... that would be my next suggestion, pull the pan and take a peek... good luck!

    and if you define a big block as having the same bell housing bolt pattern as the 385 series 429/460, then it is part of the big block family. how are you defining small/big block?

    isn't randall's a center take-off? if it is, it has better bump steer characteristics... flaming river's and tcp's are both end take-offs i believe... isn't flaming river's setup having problems with headers? do you have headers? randall's shows pics w/headers too bad they don't make one for...

    there were 3 different bell housings.... the small block c6 used in vans among other things and then 2 big block ones that i know of the 351c uses a small block bell housing (same as later 289's, 302's, and 351w's) the 429/460 uses the big block bell housing (also same as 351m/400) the fe is...

    I've got a 69 Mach 1 w/a 5.0/c4 in it that is still a work in progress... it needs an interior, suspension, paint job, and, finally, a turbo.... but it'll probably be a while...

    Cylinder Heads for 393w Stroker Engine?

    A lot of different heads listed here..... lemme add one more, the kaase/jegs heads.... they're very expensive and offer high flow rates i don't know that i could justify that kind of cost... what rpm range are you going to run? the higher it is, the bigger ports/valves you're gonna want...
