    I don't think they look bad. At first, I thought it was a bit wierd that they would leave all the extra holes in the bracket, but thought it may be there because of a load issue. Whatever the reason, I like it better than the other type of struts that extend half way down the engine bay...

    Agreed. It's all said and done by the time you take delivery of it, only takes several minutes to seat the rings. It's up to you to break it in if you had zero miles on the odometer, but it won't.... maybe 4+ miles at the least?
