    Welp, the shaker is out.......

http://www.edelbrock.com I just looked, and the 289-302 Air gaps have a notch, the 351W does not. I find this very strange. Why would they do it for one, and not the other? 87

    Welp, the shaker is out.......

Oh come on now bnickel, you know they need to do that on the Chevy's so they can even keep up with the Fords. If they put the notch in the Ford manifolds, then the truth would come out; Fords rule. ;) No worries mate, we all do it. 87

    Welp, the shaker is out.......

From the bottom of the manifold to the top of the carb base, it's 5.31" at the front, and 6.19" at the back. :D Hope that helps. Gram

Headman Elite Headers 351W fitment problems

You know I find it rather funny that more than one person on these forums has bitched about Mustang Depot, and (Jay I think is his name) posts here on a regular basis. If you are reading this Jay, you are getting a lot of bad press here. 87

    dolfan, any news....

Oh man, I don't know how kick ass it is, but I will tell you what, it was a lot of welding. No I was thinking roll cage, subframe connectors, engine bay bracing, ect ect. Just the typical Mustang stuff, but I am up for ideas of other things if you guys have suggestions. Gram

AFR 205's and Dual Plane Intake on a 393 Stroker?

If it is a street engine, why spin it past 6000 RPM? Here is the thing, with the 393 stroker combo, to run the engine past 6 you really should have a forged crank. If you are not going to see the track much, run a 'regular' crank from scat, and shift at 5700-5800 RPM. Guestimates on the...

Flame you? lol I understand where your coming from. Who knows what the future will hold, but right now I only know the Mustang. We are going to get into some other things as far as our cars go as well. I appreciate your honesty though!

What is wrong with this engine? Accelerates like I am pulling a big trailer

Yeah, really sounds like a vacuum leak. Just plug all ports at the carb, and see what happens.

    dolfan, any news....

We haven't as of yet been able to determine a final price, because all our cost estimates aren't in yet. It really depends on the CNC work, and what kind of deal we can get on shocks. It's tough right now because I don't have massive capital to call up Koni and say "Hey I need 25 sets of...

    dolfan, any news....

No, we don't have access to a 67 right now, but I am fairly sure our 68-70 kits will work on the 67's just fine because we aren't utilizing any of the factory strut rod stuff. I believe the dimensions of the 67 and the 68 are exactly the same, it's just that Ford got a wild hair, and did a...

    dolfan, any news....

I am a painter by trade. My uncle does off-road truck design, and fabrication. I HATE my job. Been doing it for 12+ years, and it has done nothing but wreck my health over those last 12 years. I am going to try and make the suspension thing a business that I can make a living off of. Even if...
