    Nitrous bottle heater...

Bought it last year. Heater works very well, so does the pressure shutoff switch. Bosch style relay and the adapter fitting provided were garbage that lasted about an hour.

Team Z motorsports rear suspension stuff worth it for the street?

Mine makes a racket now that I added aluminum bushings. Love it on the dragstrip. I'm not on the street much anymore. I would not have aluminum sphericals on my DD. Just my opinion though.

Just installed a 3 core Champion I got for $230 shipped. Very pleased so far. Fit like stock and looks like a good quality piece.

What size M/T ET Drags Should I Run?

No way I would go with a 26. I just went from a 3.73 to a 4.10 and I am now bouncing of the rev limiter every run on my 306. Sucks cause my MT drag radials have a lot of life left in them and wondering how fast my car actually is.

    1995 Linelock Install

The fitting kit is worthless for an SN95. I bought one, then my ABS fell off the car a few days later. Car doesn't see much street so i didn't care.

    ntirous oxide!!!

Quality solenoids and switches are expensive. Nitrous kit is not a good place to cut the budget IMO. That said, $700 should get you a nice kit with a purge.

Will a Tweecer be able to tune my 414 c.i.?

Pokageek I didn't read your initial post close enough to see you still have your PMS. Sounds like you need tuning help any way you go. Paying somebody might be your best option if you stay PMS. Regarding your PCM. You would really have to mangle it for it not to connect. Sounds like a...

Will a Tweecer be able to tune my 414 c.i.?

That's why a base tune is so important for some of us. After spending all summer waiting on parts gathering and very slow machinework, the last thing I wanted was a car that ran like crap for 6 weeks while I ascended the learning curve. The tuning devices are nice. Get that base saved on one...

Will a Tweecer be able to tune my 414 c.i.?

Most any tuner will do what you want. I went with Tweecer but qHorse is cheaper. I recommend you buy from a vendor that will spend the time to throw in a base tune. That's worth some money to me. Bought my Tweecer from Chris at PowerAdderSolutions. Customer service was excellent. He gave...

    intake manifold questions

Get the custom and don't look back. The car will do exactly what the cam man says as long as you provide accurate info.

What computers do you use for TwEECer?

Good idea to get the Tweecer now. I am still getting help from the Tweecer vendor. PMS is easier to use, but the Tweecer allows you to make very refined changes and will be sufficient for most any combo. Whatever you get, make sure it can run multiple tunes. My new combo is in the 12s and...

    Question about nitrous kit.

I ran a 100 shot for awhile on my hypers before I put my combo together. Saw no sign of stress from that on engine teardown. I only say that because I found a 50 shot to be quite underwhelming. I'd buy something that will do a little more. You don't have to use it, but it will be there. I...

    tweecer rt and windows vista

If it happens to be something like this......... PDOXUSRS file can't be found, written or whatever.... Software guru I isn't, but it's Vista security blocking the writing of a file. The borland software is a common database used by business software. You can google up the step by step...

    tweecer rt and windows vista

Are you getting any kind of error messages when you launch the programs? If so, post them up. I was when I first tried to use my new laptop with Vista. I did a google search and found a correction for the error message. Are you running a serial cable, or a USB to serial converter cable?

Another finally got my 12 second run thread.

I mostly drive my car at 5K+ rpms since I got this new combo installed. Is it supposed to run at lower rpms? :D This is Rootus old combo I bought when I was deployed to Middle East. You and I had numerous conversations about it back then. Had a new cam cut for it and sent the Performer...

Another finally got my 12 second run thread.

Sort of. I have a pull on my base tune when I was running 13.3 to 13.5 ET a few weeks ago. 298.5HP at 5300 and TQ at 315 as I recall. Dyno operator didn't ask me how high I wanted him to rev and he pulled the plug 5700ish. Threw 8% more fuel at it to get the ET just under 13. I plan to get...

Another finally got my 12 second run thread.

A goal I have been chasing for many years with several mismatched combo cars. Finally got my 12 in my first Mustang. Only a 12.98, but it's a 12! New AFR165-FTI-Performer combo has gotten a couple tenths faster every week since i fired it a month ago. Probably going to take a few suspension...

First Tweecer datalog, where to start?

I almost died of old age deciding which tuner to go with. Decided on a Tweecer RT from Chris at Poweradder Solutions. He's given me awesome customer service setting up my base tune. Don't want to call him until I can hold up my end of an intelligent conversation. :) Ready to do my first...
