    My engine bay is Done!!!

Looks like you need to add a couple of more coats of paint. Did you paint this with spray cans or with a paint gun? I think a couple of more coats and it will look awesome.

    RestoMod & Brakes

I was also thinking about buying the willwood setup. It seams to be the best deal. 4 piston caliper, and all new parts for 650 in summit i believe. I hestitated hereing that it adds track width though, consider my wheels are right at the fender now. I ended up getting some maverick brakes...

Front re-allignment has dropped my front suspension by over an inch??

Maybe when he put the car on the rack, the springs got moved out of place. I can lower my car about another .5 to an inch by just turning the spring so that the first half of a coil is off the upper control arm.

    Body Sanding

The proper way to do it is to use a DA sander. But not necessary, you can use a palm sander from sears. You have to use something that is vibrating to take the paint off. If you use a drill with an attachment, it will just rip into the paint and leave grooves. Why are you trying to take the...

    Remote trunk release

What year is your car. I have a 65 and i installed a regular doorlock motor that i got off of ebay. The only way to install it was to get rid of the keylock. Cause with the keylock still connected, the lever to open the trunk would not move.

Something to look at, pics on my cardomain site

Everything i'm doing is pretty much my first time. The only skill that i have is i'm very handy and good at working on cars. Dads a mechanic, which taught me to be one. The machining, welding, sheetmetal, i'm actually learning as i go. O, and doing body work too, and this will be my first...

Something to look at, pics on my cardomain site

The radiator support wasn't too hard to make. But i wouldn't advise doing this unless you had some fabrication skills. The shop next to me is a sheet metal shop. So i had access to sheetmetal and his tools. Other than that, its just a straight bar, square tubing with two pieces of sheetmetal...

What's the most you're ever going to get out of a 200cid?

If you want to be different, put twin turbos and that will definitely be different. Why would you want to pour money into a I6, only to appear and sound like a stock 8. I would rather pour my money into something worth doing, thats just my opinion. Rather take the 8 cylinder, pour money into...

What's the most you're ever going to get out of a 200cid?

I would definitely do the 6 to 8 conversion. I did it to my 65 and had no regrets. Now if i had a choice weather to buy a 6 or an 8, then definitely take the 8. Find yourself a 88-93 mustang block and build that. When your ready, all you have to do is drop in the motor, get some engine...

    Air Compressor Talk

Total Control Products, where to buy?

Well, sounds like there just really busy. So i can't see why they would be going out of business. Busy is good right? Right. Maybe they just need to get some more help. Sounds like they have been selling faster then they are producing. Which i believe is a good thing.

Almost ready to swap in my t5...Q's inside

i have a 65, originally had a c4 tranny, swapped it out for a t5 from a 88. The drive shaft and slip yoke fit right in. Didn't have to do anything to the driveshaft. 1 less problem that i didn't have to deal with.

The alternator that i have is out of a 88 5.0. I am trying to wire up this alternator to my 65 stang. The unit works good, i brought it to kragen and had it tested. Now my questions are about the wiring. There are 6 wires, 2 of them go together and go to a battery source, 1 wire jumps from the...

    5.0 swap

I just did the same swap into my 65 stang, 95 motor and a t5. After buying my 95 motor, i found out that the accessories sit back further towards the motor than the 88-93 motors. This swap is not hard, just depends on what accessorie brackets you have now and how good you are at fabricating...
