Doing compression check; what are the numbers I need?

Depends on different things.. You really want to see all eight numbers withing 10% of each other to be good to go.

    Getting shift kit, few questions...

I installed it a few days ago.. I really like it. At moderate throttle, it shift 1-2 at about 1000 rpm higher, and the same on 2-3 and 3-4. If you punch it, like matt said, it shifts way up in the powerband. Definately use the firmer springs. My AOD was weak, and now if I half way romp on it...

    SVO Roller Rocker Stud Question..

Bolt down pedestal rockers? If so, it's a 5/16 cap screw, from any hardware store, get grade 8 if possible. If it's a true 'stud' mounted, you'll have to order those from a performance shop. Torque specs on the bolt down pedestals is 24 ft/lbs..

    AOD problem????

My AOD with the transgo shift from 1-2 (while the shifter is in OD) at around 3000 rpm. Shifts firm.. Your's soft? Did you install the kit? Could be an issue with that valve or pressure..

    Stroker kit! HELP

www.adperformance.com , and it Brian.. If you plan on running a blower or turbo later on, make sure you go with a low compression dished piston, you're looking for 8.0:1 to 9.5:1 compression at the most IMHO. Once you get your flywheel and damper, you should take the whole rotating assembly to...

    Blinkers wont work

Courtesy of TMoss : http://www.veryuseful.com/mustang/tech/engine/images/MustangFuseBox.gif I think the relay behind the box he's talking about is a short cylinder, about 1.5" in diameter and 1.5" tall.

    What is this cable for?

The one right beside the throttle that goes into the driver's side fender is cruise control. The one beside it, if you have an automatic, is the TV cable, for 3 to 4 shifts.

    Damn my interior stinks

I think I'd rather smell the dirty gym sock.. Mine has a smell of clabbored milk under the driver's seat.. I think I'll try the turtle wax stuff.. It's no problem to pull the seats, eight bolts, but I'd rather not take the carpet out either. If I did that, I'd just take it to a laundromat...

    6 by 9s rear in 90 vert

Never done it. I've considered mounting a couple 8" subs on the center part of the deck though. As flat as it is, it seems you should be able to drill some new mounting holes, and they should sit level. Let us know.

    backfiring, need help!

YES.. Run it without the vacuum. Start at 32 if you want, and if it were me, I'd try to add some time until I got pinging, then back it off.

    Snapped Tap

And when you get the tap extractor, make sure you shoot some oil down around the tap before you try to extract it. Be careful not to bend the prongs on the extractor also. You have to work it out the same way you SHOULD have worked the tap in, backing it off every turn or so.

Strange oily film on inside of windshield

I've done a lot of mechanical work, and the heater core is probably one item I would almost pay someone else to do. Realistically, first time out, it's a 6 hour job, but doable. If you bypass the hoses, make sure you run your U-hose on the hard heater lines, dont loop the dead core together...

    starter hook-up?

Take the wire going to your old starter, and move the upper part to the opposite side of the solenoid, and connect it to the spade terminal on the mini starter (small side terminal). Now, run a wire from where the old starter wire was on the solenoid (the dead side - should be the only wire...

94/95 5.0 in fox? Pros and cons

I've done this a few times.. You'll have to change the upper intake, lower intake has no throttle body coolant provision, as mention, but it's cake to bypass. You CAN use the 95 timing cover and front accessories, main difference is the depth of the pulleys. Most other things are a direct...
