    I run a 275/60/15 on a 15x8 w/5.5 back spacing and it hits one tailpipe....it's tight. The 295 will probably rub the fender and rub the insides while turning. A 65 series tire would be like a big balloon. I would not recommend it.

    .....same here. Except I don't let the intake sit over night. Almost any automotive silicone will work....I like blue and black but ultra grey is good too. Just look on the package and will tell you what the intended uses are.

    Is there oil or grime around the fan clutch? If it was winter time I wouldn't be so sure but with the high temps that we've been seeing the incoming air hitting the radiator at highway speeds very well may not cool enough without the fan working properly- especially under load.

    All a spacer will do is make the intake runner longer....it kind of negates the reason for replacing the stocker...a shorter runner will make more power higher up on the rpm curve. I'm guessing that you are using a street heat right? No sense in using a spacer. Stock on stock speed density...

    Chips are great for most cars but Fox's have such a simple computer that I feel that the only real benefit of chip is better drivability. As stated above, a car with no blower and relatively small injectors can get what it needs from manual adjustments.

    Sounds like the fan clutch. My brother in laws 93 was doing exactly what you described and I replaces his fan clutch and it runs perfect now. Get the heavy duty version. Without seeing the car I'm as positive as I could be. PS: I think that your co-workers are right.

    3.73 is probably the best all around gear. Don't get me wrong, 4.10's are great on an NA car but if you already have 3.73's don't bother. Spend the money somewhere else. Besides, if you ever go to any type of power adder you will likely run out of gear with 4.10's.

    My C4 has an 9 1/2 inch converter, 3800 rpm stall, and a transbrake- it can handle 800hp. A stock one could probably handle 300hp or so I would imagine
