    My hesitation in doing this is installing a shut off switch discreetly on the rear of the car. The rearend is so opened up, it's just difficult to somewhat hide it. I'm thinking about putting it by the bumper.

    My initial guess is that it's due to ABS. Paul's HP could answer that a bit more accurately though.
