    Yes you Can just Jack the Back off the car up pretty good and set jack stands and hook your chains one on the front driver side of your heads and the other on the rear passenger side of head or vise versa and just take your time and work it out.you may have to adjust the chains a couple of times...

    LOL yeah i always did favor stick but i did like drivin Dads stang with this AOD and a 4500 stall and 4:10 gears.

    Yuhp we thought the same thing maybe they were wrong ones so i called the performance shop we orderd them through and they said yeah you have to run steering shaft through the headers.

    Loud Distributor noise

    Sounds like a problem i had a couple of years ago,the little black magnetic pickup inside the distributor was rubbing.thought it was odd that it was lose and rubbing when the distributor hadnt even been messed with,so i pulled the distributor and found the cam gear on distributor half eaten away.

    Spark plug wires arching onto header??????

    Replace your plug wires,how old are they? I check my for arching all the time i replace them about every 6 months just to keep everything fresh..I live right by a lake so at night i drive to the lake where its pitch black pop the hood and if there arcing its plainly visible even the tiniest spark.

    yeah we put the MAC longtubes on my dads 89GT 331 strocker this past summers and the steering shaft was a pain having to run it through the headers.

    thanks for the feedback those BBk's do look nice.exhaust size is determined by Airflow of the engine not cubic inches of the motor.and with my head mods and cam change comming in next couple of weeks im gonna be better off with the 3" exhaust.

    LOL no joke i hear ya there this motor with these little heads produce so crazy torque....and with these 3.73 and fire"Stone" radials i got on forget about 1st and 2nd gears and hope 3rd finally grabs....when i first got this motor in my car,i raced a 64 Nova this kid had with a 350 he ran...

    Yeah I agree with Mike on the Ford cams..not all that great,I favor Lunati cams myself and will probably have a custom grind here in a few weeks with my Modified heads...Only reason im running a FMS cam now is because when me and my machinist called lunati with my engine specs with my heads as...

    No quad brackets on rear axle?

    Somebody must have already have already did away with the quad shoks on that car before...doing away with the quad shocks allow you to run a little bit wider slick.
