gt hood and cobra bumper prices

Ship it greyhound (bus) shipping. It's much cheaper and sometimes faster. wrap the bumper in brown masking paper from lowes and the shipping will be about $55. I send all my big items through the bus as opposed to a truck. I bought a 96 Cobra hood and had it shipped via greyhound for under...

my wipers keeps coming on ..????

I have the exact same problem in my 88 vert. I changed the Govner, motor and switch (twice) and it still is on intermittent low. I ended up just pulling the fuse and inserting it when I need it. I'm parting the car out anyway now so its moot. I couldn't fix mine so I can't tell you what it...

Electrical guys help connect stero please

I had assumed you were starting it with a screwdriver. That would trash the tumblers and allow any key to work. Heck if a screwdriver works, so would any key. Sorry for the confusion on that.

Like I said, I have a set of ign and door locks. I was going to put them in an 88 stang but I decided to part it out since I have 3 stangs total. I need to get rid of something. The door keys will be different from the ign but many cars ar like that. The ign switch I have is new and only a...

Electrical guys help connect stero please

I went to autozone or advance auto parts and got a set of keys and a NEW ign for $13.50. Locksmith, + servicecall = $90 or so. Whats cheaper? I can change the ign in 10-15 minutes. A locksmith can do it if you want the same key but if you are starting it with a screwdriver, you have already...

    Odometer froze

Crawl under the car and remove the speedo gear set. Check the teeth and clean the gear with brake cleaner. I just did this to my Cobra for the same reason, speedo, odo was dirty as crap and with it being electronic, could cause problems. It fixed my problem. This applies if you have a 5...

    95 Cobra Clutch recomedations please!

The FRPP king cobra clutch kit is made by valeo and Ford. The PP was a Valeo and the clutch and TB were ford staped. I just put one in two weeks ago. I think it is a nice soft clutch but it may not be the best if you are looking for drag launching. Just depends on how much you want to spend...

How deep is the melting lenght wise? I had a melt down near my vert swithc on my 88. I went to the Junk yard and cut off what I needed then just spliced it in to the old harness with butt connectors and it works great now. If you need a partial harness, I am just starting to part a 88...

Need opinions on removing wrench from my engine

True! The mirror idea is a good one. Like a little dental mirror, shine a light on it and look around the hole. I'm scared to put anything near engine orafaces such as the intake, carb or dizzy hole. This is actually making me want to think harder about being under the hood with tools.

Need opinions on removing wrench from my engine

Maybe a coat hanger wire could be bent in many different ways to at least locate if the wrench is in the rotating assm or partially in the pan or just laying back out of sight. That really sux that you have to pull the motor or at a minimum, the pan but grab a good light and some wire and try...

Need opinions on removing wrench from my engine

I am missing a 9/16" socket for the same reason you are. it fell into an old sixty something Bonneville that had a big motor and was as big as a Navy Desroyer, but my tool that I lost was a socket. It'll sit at the bottom in the sludge until one day when someone will pull the engine and find a...
