    Will the flywheel from a 95 GT work in a 95 cobra. The guy who sold me the flywheel told me it was for the cobra. The cobra one is allot smaller and lighter, but will the GT one still work?

    How much to rebuild a 5.0?

    Mine was $1000 to have everything rebuilt, $600 to $700 to take it in / out and assemble. Find someone good to do it, the guy who did mine completely jacked it up. I didn't rebuild the heads, I bought new ones.

    Just called him, he says he can put it in any of the gears and start it. He says if he puts it in first and tries to start it it grinds.

    That's funny, after I pulled mine out of the car I thought about using it as a fish bowl. I am going to silicon the hell of out of the next set I get. The picture below has about one inch of water in it. I have been through two sets of ford headlights.

    Mine still works (knock on wood) :D I was coming home one night in my 66 and went over some railroad tracks. I hit a hole on the other side and went off the road, ripping the exhaust out from under the car. Put it back up with coat hangers until I got home.
