    While we are on the subject of the shaker, Shelby/Kicker has joined forces for a plug and play upgrade for Shaker systems. I was thinking about pulling the trigger on this but was waiting to hear from someone that has it or at least know more than me.

    I have been using 10W30 mobile 1 since my first oil change with no problems. I can't get 5W20 as the book calls for here in Macedonia.

    I wonder if pouring a little of air freshener on the filter would be adviseable. That would eliminate those little bottles hanging off the vents that sometimes fall down.

    I clean mine every six months when I change oil if it needs it or not. I don't drive the car very much (40-60 miles per month) and a road trip about once a year.

    Accidental Oil Mix

    I have been running 0W40 since the first oil change in my '05 almost four years ago. I got 26K on the clock so you can see I don't drive it that much, but thats the only decent oil I can get at my location.

    So who drives their Mustang in the winter?

    I drive mine during the winter with the stock tires. In summer I have a set of 18" tires and rims I put on. If it gets wrecked (God Forbid) thats what full coverage insurance, and good credit is for in case I have to replace it. IMHO Mustangs were made to be driven.

    Its about that time!

    I would keep the tank full as well, but I'd take the car out every two or three weeks for a few laps around the block. Nothing wears out a car faster or a house for that matter that letting it sit unused for long periods. In my opinion.

    Factory alarm....

    I don't think there is. My '05 when I first got it used to go off for no reason also, even in the garage. Now it never goes off and I'm wondering if the thing still works.
