    Yeah lowers the powerband a tad. They're not exenisive so a couple of extra horses makes it good hp/$ I also need one for Intake to valve cover clearance.

    The battery normaly grounds to the chasis, and the block is normaly grounded to the chasis also.

    then u have to start over w/ the timing. Bring #1 cyl to TDC and put the distributor in with the rotor pointing at #1 spot on the cap. Should be about 11 o'clock position.

    Well like I said, if you designed it correctly. It is possible to engineer a fan that spins 7000rpm's w/o using 700apms. Blade pitch, use of a pully's, using an appropriate eletric motor, etc.

    Well for gas milage, just keep the rpm's low as long as there's no heavy load. ie. large hill. And as said above, no need to wind a v8 up like a top. Instant POWER!

    I think the electric superchargers would be great... if they could get em to run at say what 100,000rpms to actauly move air w/ their cheap ass blades. (Friend bought one, I laughed) I mean why not stick a blow drier up your intake or just a mini fan?

    Who's painted there headers???? come on it!!!!

    I used a 2000* header paint from the local racing parts store. I sanded them to bare metal with an emery cloth then ran over them with acetone. Next I used the 2000* primer for 2 coats followed by 3 coats of 2000* paint. Hasn't discolored flake chipped or nothing and this is a dialy driver...

    I think it's just letting some N2O out of the lines via a purge nozzel...no meaning to it except "hey I have nawws" and maybe clearing the lines if you're going to unhook it or something. At least that's my take on it.

    maybe there's a difference in the input the computer is looking for a9p auto comp vs a9l manual comp??
