    Preventing exhaust leaks when reattatching exhaust

    get teh pipe snug, then manhandle it a round so it will seat for the msot prat. snug it down then start the car and get things to heat up a bit (about a minute or so) then hit the bolts with an impact wrench... this usually works for me...

    So after getting out of Jet cars at NED last weekend and my son's seat belt (driver's rear) wouldn't pull out (locked). As I tried to let a little in to get it to release and pull out it just kept going in. I want to get this fixed tomorrow when I am doing my oil change. Anyone encounter this...

    Cobra intake

    When I was looking for my cobra intake I put it in my signature that I wanted a 94/95 cobra intake and I had a couple PMs that I ended up making the deal on one of them locally.... it is a good intake jsut don't spend crazy $$ on it...

    fender alignment

    The engine bay bolts and bottom of the fender bolts control the door gap. You have to manhandle the fender into position then tighten these down. Then use the two bolts behind the door tocontrol how well the fender follows the contour of the door. On my car I had to change teh passenger...

    I am using Cal Edit. I read the tune into the laptop, changed the setting then loaded them to the TwEECer. Then changed them higher (1200 RPM) and loaded those into a different tune on the TwEECer. When I ran the car on either of these it still idled at 750. I then hooked the laptop...

    Trying to up idle with Tweecer

    I tried to change the idle in my car from the 750 it was set at to 900 rpm to get more charging at idle. Even though I upped the Idle in gear and idle to 900ish RPM it still idles at 750 rpm. Is there another scalar to up the idle? BTW I am doing this to keep my HIDs from flashing at...

    Try car-part.com ... there is a place in middletown (i think) that always seems to have a bunch of Mustangs (based on the seat selection)... I have also used privelege auto parts in Woonsocket.... Got a v6 seat for like $20 as all I needed was the seat back mechanism...

    Can someone Run a carfax

    FWIW, carfax is useless... I had a truck that had over $9k worth of damage with a $9500 value (they found things after they were in the middle of repairing it) and carfax shows clean, even years later. Also my Mustang showed a clean title when I bought it even though it had been spun probably...

    Call your insurance and let them fight this for you. You may be SOL due to liability only but you never know. If you are a good client they should do what they can to track down the other car and insurance policy...

    That looks pretty costly... Why not go through the insurance (either yours or his)??? By the time you are done with parts you are looking at at least $500 (2 fenders, header panel, headlights, radiator support panel)...

    My bud bought his car for the auto as well... once he did some mods and the atuo gave out again he did the TKO swap... I gotta say I hate his TKO but he loves having a stick....
