    Mine only does that in 4th gear at those speeds. I didn't hear it until I installed my MGW. I thought it had something do with the 1:1 ratio in 4th gear. I also was told it was my spider gears. Pearl02.

    Wow! How was that project going? Sounds like one big headache. You should be able to "undo" the damage. I would think that replacing the motor with a mod mod motor would have been easier. Pearl02.

    30 min pulley install?

    Yep, there is a starter for the crank. It's longer than the stock crank bolt. You only need it to get the crank pulley started on the crank. I bought a new crank bolt from Ford. I don't think you need a new one but I bought one anyway. Pearl02.

    It should be inline with your EVAP cannister. I had to replace the one on my Mazda B4000 last yr. Pearl02.

    What's the purpose of the dogbone? I always thought it was for balance and to cut down vibration. Pearl02.

    Idle Issues

    Yes. An exhaust leak depending on where it's located can cause problems. Leaks infront of 02 sensors can give false readings and cause the 02 sensors to react to the readings. This could effect the idle. Pearl02.

    I would probably feel the same way if I had a header stud strip out. I can't imagine pulling the tranny out without a lot of clearence. While the job wasn't "fun" , it also wasn't overly painful either. Pearl02.

    Ain't that the truth. I just installed my MRT midpipe and had those 4 header exhaust bolts off in 10min. I even sold my motorcycle a few yrs back to buy my air compressor. I enough money to buy all my air tools. It wsn't that hard to sell my bike since I wasn't riding anymore. Pearl02.

    I got my MRT midpipe installed last Thursday. It wasn't to bad of a job. I had no problems with the exhaust manifold bolts. I oiled everything up and let it sit overnight. I used my impact gun to remove the bolts. I had all 4 of thoses bolts off in 10 minutes. Ofcourse, the passenger side...

    You could remove the alt and take it to auto part store. They can remove the bolt and swope the pulley for you. Pearl02.
