    is there anyway to check the IAC. or just clean it hope for the best if nothing improves pull codes. sorry bout the caps. using the computer at work and when i log stuff into our database i put in all caps and never think to turn them off.

    IT DOESNT DIE UNTIL I COME TO A COMPLETE STOP, ACTUALLY A FEW SECONDS AFTER. IF I FEATHER THE GAS IT STAYS ON. I HAVE NEVER CHANGED IDLE SETTING AND HAVE A HARD TIME BELIEVING THAT THE IAC IS DIRTY. I BOUGHT A FORD RACING THROTTLE BODY ABOUT 3500 MILES AGO.

    "hyper. pistons" cant think of one reason i would buy a motor that i didnt put together and not go for forged pistons. actually i cant think of a reason i wouldnt build one without forged pistons. the only reason my stang still has hyperetic pistons is because its still running.

    nice find. i bought a 95 f-150 4x4 with the 351w. two days later the e40d went out. all told i still only have 5500 doll hairs in it. it came with a tonnau cover, really helps pull that 11 mpg up to about 17mpg.

    ok i have changed the tfi, coil, plug wires. the car just dies on me while going down the road. after a little down time it fires back up but while its down there is no spark from the coil to the distributor. help please.

    the last time the car shut down i popped the hood for a while and messed around trying to find somthing, anything. after a while i heard a noise almost like a fuel pump but it came from somewhere in the engine bay, as soon as i heard the noise i tried to start the car and it started right up...

    is there anything in the distributor that would cause the car not to fire. the other night the car just died on me twice. both times i was driving the car down the road and it just quit. it had to sit for 20 minutes roughly before it would fire back up.

    just out of curiosity i took one of the old coil wires and tried it out and to my surprise the car fired right up. i then tried all the previous ones and the car fired right up with all of them. (its the wire from coil to dizzy). now this is strange as some of the wires have just left me...
