    MAKE SURE you have AGSF-32C or -32PM plugs installed. These are the redesigned plugs from Motorcraft and have a larger shoulder, preventing plug backout. If you have the AWSF-32PM, get rid of them. Those are the ones that are causing the issue.

    You HAVE TO GET the newly re-designed plugs from motorcraft. Model number AGSF-32C. They have a larger shoulder where they meet the heads preventing spark plug back-out. Autolite also makes the same plug but with a different model number.

    Coolant light will not go away.

    Mine does the same annoying thing. But it's because I run 75/25 mix, mostly water during the summer. The float is at the bottom, horrible design, not much I can do about it besides cleaning it to help it float easier.

    My brother bought a Cobra kit recently and he had some vibration under braking. He got new rotors and he hasn't had a complaint since.

    I've looked at my tank when the car is hot and running, the level stays right up there. The sensor is shot.

    Mine's always on now since the engine swap a few months ago. Annoying but I know my coolant is full. My brother was having the same problem on his '97.

    There's also a TSB for those Romeo engines with a ticking noise, worn valve guides that make them tick.

    4.6 cobra conversion

    Actually, that was my bad. Starting in '96, all 4.6 and 5.4 DOHC's run DOMED forged pistons, not flat topped. But yea, they're not dished, they're nothing like SOHC pistons. The domed area is what helps bump the DOHC's compression up to 9.9:1 then down to 8.5:1 in 2003.

    Actually I think the compression would be "jacked down" since Cobras use flat topped pistons, the GT's dished pistons would create more CC's in the combustion chamber, lowering compression.

    Engine ticking noise *vid*

    Yea, it does one kind of low toned clicking noise when it's cold, but now when it's warm that goes away like usual but now there is a ticking noise when it's up to operating temp like you hear in the vid.

    www.karkraft.com - $149 and OEM. Not the bullitt version, but it's cheap for an OEM manifold with the aluminum crossover.

    Checked all the plugs, they were all tight. Took the one out in the cylinder that I fixed back in May, the plug looked fine.
