    where am i leaking oil from?! i am so depressed

    i have oil leaking down onto the oil filter,, its the valve covers, no biggy. also have the rear main seal leak,, but dont ALL 5.0's leak from the Rear Main seal :banana: ive never seen one that doesnt have at least a slight leak :shrug:

    Can I learn to port with this?

    bro, just pick up an intake off another 5.0... u can find them for under 20 bux on ebay.... if it comes out good, then all ya gotta do is remove the one on your car, and put the one u just ported on,, however if it comes out like sh1t then its all good :nice:

    rear main seal problem? can someone verify?

    it seems like your talking about two different things. Gear oil would only be located in the rear end, not in the tranny. More so, when the Rear Main leaks, it leaks oil not trans fluid. So it would be oil leaking. not gear oil.... this is under the assumption u have a T5, but still a rear...

    Ceramic engine paints.....need advice

    i used the 1200 degree paint to highlight my plaque on the intake, i let it dry and all, and then installed it,, it ended up getting tiny pits of black that wont wipe off? i dunno what i did wrong? only thing i could think of is i didnt put it in the oven..

    i bought a can of that stuff too, by duplicolor, i dunno how the hell to do this,, are you supposed to give it one coat, let it dry a little, give another coat, etc untill covered, and then let it dry, and then put it in the oven. or right after that last coat is applied put it in the oven...

    i wouldnt say i drop alot of gear at all... if im approaching a light, ill down shift,,, but i dont drop a gear and punch it if thats what ur saying. Im sure if u rev your car up there will be a slight amount of gray smoke,,,thats normal :shrug: blue smoke is oil, and white smoke is coolant...
