    Aluminum Heads Expected Gains

Yea once i get home i'll start looking into it a little more and see what's available around my area. I'm originally field artillery. I volunteered for this deployment so i came over runnin convoy security for a transportation unit that helped with the final push out of Iraq. That ended in...

    Aluminum Heads Expected Gains

Actually i was. Either a TKO600 or a T56. Haven't really decided yet. I know a TKO can take about everything that 351W can throw at it, but idk about the T56. after the 351 swap, i plan on hitting the track pretty often in it and want a transmission i know can hold up. and i work hard...

    Aluminum Heads Expected Gains

Yea I already have a Stage 3 clutch on it now. I was planning on upgrading to 3.55's as soon as i get home too. But i wasn't thinking about the trans yet. I might as well slap a TKO600 under there while im doing the suspension and wait for power adders later. Within a couple of years i want to...

    Aluminum Heads Expected Gains

And running 7-8 psi, with cast internals on a stock block, as a daily driver that will see the track one or two weekends out of the month, can i trust it to hold up to the boost? And from looking at it, all this could probably be done with less than about $2,500 shouldn't it?

    Aluminum Heads Expected Gains

I actually wanted to add a small blower in the future. Not anything pushing 28 psi or anything but something around 5-7 psi would suit me fine. Only thing is that ive never worked with any kind of power adder. i know basically how it works, and what it consist of. but the small details here and...

    Aluminum Heads Expected Gains

I think its just a shadow or the way the fabric on the seat is sittin. ive got alot of other pics of the interior and that is the only one that the seat looks like that. I was mainly showing the dash. I plan on going with some type of aftermarket bucket seats in the future anyways. Yea so ive...

http://www.stangnet.com/mustang-forums/threads/trickflow-twisted-wedge-track-heat-alluminum-heads.851819/ These were the TW heads I was talking about. I learned my lesson about the GT40's and letter cams on the build i did on my first fox body. Was an 87 Vert and i added GT40P head, E cam...

    Aluminum Heads Expected Gains

I am in the process of buying a '93 GT from a member on here now. It has a 306 shortblock, GT40 heads and intake, with a F-303 cam. Has intake spacer, hydraulic lifters, Ford racing pushrods, h-pipe, and flowmasters. Not really wanting to do a bunch to the car right now, just bump it up a little...

Is this fox a good deal?

i would jump on that deal ASAP. like hoopty5.0 said, if you absolutely can't stand the vert, buy a nice roller and drop the setup straight into it. and if SN95's are your thing, buy a 94-95 roller and drop the drivetrain into it. Seems like too good of a deal to pass up on. and that kinda car...

    Time for a new engine

+1 $1300 for his 306 shortblock with forged pistons and rods. you would still have enough left to pick up a set of GT40 heads and intake off of an Explorer. You will probably have enough left for gaskets and other ends & outs. Depending on your H/C/I setup now, could be a step up.
