    Mismatching the front o2 sensors isn't a problem because they are the same. The rear o2's are different though so make sure they are put back in the proper spot. Fouled sensors with grease can cause them to fail.

    First thing I'd do is pull #1 spark plug and inspect it. Regap and try again. You also might want to consider installing fuel and boost gauges. A custom dyno tune would insure you are running safe and optimum power.

    Actually the Mach 1 is very under rated. I've personally seen one dyno 299 HP with a catback and K&N. Compression is higher in these. 10:1 I believe. As far as the 98 Cobra against a 2002 GT, stock to stock, same driver, the Cobra will own.

    is it worth it

    Takes me about 45 minutes to an hour to swap mine out by myself with a set of Rhino Ramps. So I figure an hour and a half of my time every 2 years is worth it.

    With the stock timing and compression you are only wasting your money by going with the 93. When I had my GT I used 87 with no problems. This is what Ford recommends anyway.
