    Summit IO believe summit and jegs both sell the xtreme as a kit...has element, xtreme lid, and drop carberator base... Check them out and see... I would think you would need the drop base with the 4" element without a scoop or cowl hood or such...

    valve covers... Anyone have any bent up or beatup valve covers they want to part with cheap???? 25.00 was best I found at summit...cheap summit brand chrome... Ron

    plug wires No plug wires are new, cap and rotor are 12 yrs old, but had less than 100 miles...inspected and cleaned them. Thank you D.Hearne - now to find some cheap valve covers... Someone ougth to make some of these...out of plasic or something....

    OK So my problem may just still be in the valve adjustment. I thought (there is my problem) I read you tighten until you cannot turn the pushrod, then 3/4 turn more... Hmmm.. So here I go again and adjust the valves again... So what is the proceedure for adjusting the valves with it...

    Header Question

    Tri-Y's Some here do not like the Tri-y's some do... I personally do... I also highly recommend getting the ceramic coating no matter what you get, they will last longer, and stay looking good longer! The tri-y were designed for the mustang, and do not have the ground clearance issues...

    Bone stock... The car is bone stock be in my family's possesion since early 70's...sitting until 92 when I rebuilt the engine...I did some assembly and a mechanic friend did some. He did the valve adjustment originally. Anyhow... I will start over for good measure...I don't know when...

    hmmm Ok...so you say it does not matter if it is at TDC of the compression stroke??? I was usining the twist method... loosen the rocker until you can sping the pushrod...tighten just until you cannot spin it...then 3/4 turn more.

    Thank you Yes I already have new gaskets... I will take the advice and do the cylinders in firing order...It was just his opinion it was easier to do going down each bank so you don't miss any... Thank you for the info... I plan to do this as soon as I find a little time... Thanks...

    TRI-Y's I highly recommend the tri-y's.. 1. they were designed and made specifically for stangs... 2. they still allow great ground clearance 3. they were originally on shelby's so there is still the nostalgia 4. they are inexpensive... I got mine from MustangsUnlimited...good...

    Stock autolite 2100 I have a stock autolite 2100.... Does anyone make a kit... I have a performent intake and edelbrock carb on another stang I might pull...it may have elec choke... but it has been sitting since 92...likely needs rebuilding... what to do??
