    It was caused by blow through. Just the water passages on the one side look like that. I don't know if they ported it or not, I'm guessing yes since the rest of the intake is ported.

    Ok so I've never done this before but I've heard from multiple sources that you should take apart a new oil pump and de-bur the edges of the gears and basically blueprint the oil pump. Is this really needed? I am going to be running a melling oil pump.

    Ok I need input from anyone running 1 5/8 BBK Longtubes and a Canton T-Sump oil pan. I was told to check on the fitment, but I called BBK and they said they haven't experienced this setup so I'm asking around for input.

    Milodon Road Race Pan??

    Has anyone here used or is currently using the Milodon Road Racing Oil Pan for a 302 fox mustang? If so what oil pump and pickup did you use? Also did you have any problems with maingirdle fitment? Thanks

    Decision: new block or use old 302?

    Just do some quality bearings and rings, forged pistons, I-beam rods or stock up to you, and stock crank. You should be ok with a stock oil pump but get a new one unless you plan on getting a bigger pan then you need a better pump.
