    I've heard that tops, like gears, are usually better left to the pros. You want it done right, esp. something so integral as the top to your car. If you do it by yourself, I've heard have a couple of friends on hand to help...makes sense. Best of luck!

    I occasionally have the same problem. Usually if I let the car sit for 15-30 seconds and then try again it'll start okay. Still pretty annoying. :mad:

    I'd suspect the mufflers are chambered, though it's hard to know, as the system is pretty rare, so there aren't a lot of discarded ones that can be cut open to confirm... Ford Racing claims that the catback provides increased flow of 7 - 10%. I don't know what sort of hp that translates to...

    I have one on my car....love it. The mufflers are not OEM, but rather high-flow performance mufflers. I asked Ford Racing that question before I bought mine (of course, it took forever to get through to them and actually talk to someone). Tubing is also 1/4" bigger than stock. :nice:

    FRPP catback is nice. Classic musclecar rumble, no drone, stainless steel and perfect fitment (made by the company that makes the stock exhaust). Pretty rare as well. :nice:

    I believe briefly in the 1980s, Ford's Mustang convertibles were actually coupes that Ford sent to an aftermarket company, who basically cut the top off 'em. :D

    Check out the FRPP cat-back system. I and a few others here have it, and it's a nice alternative to the usual choices. It imparts a deep rumble to the car, and is pleasingly loud during acceleration. But there's no drone, and it won't give you a headache when cruising or attract unwanted...

    I may not have leather, but at least my cloth is real all around; and pretty good quality I think...plus I like the two-tone look of the cloth interiors: mine is charcoal gray with light gray woven-style seat inserts. :)

    It's always annoyed me that the 4.6 has been around for more than 10 years, but Ford Racing has yet to come up with any valve covers for it. They've got an entire catalog of parts for the Focus, but can't give us one of the most basic, classic dress-up items for V8 engines. I like the ones...
