    On every stock 5.0 I've taken the factory rockers were a little loose. Have you tried using a drill to prime your oil system? Once you get everything pumped up the rocker might tighten up.

    I ported mine with a burr on a drill the used a Dremel with a sanding bit/pad to finish up. What heads do you have? If they are GT40 or stock it’s probably not worth the effort. If you have aluminum heads porting the lower will be worth it.

    Someone really went overboard on the RTV on the intake gasket. When you put it back together I wouldn’t recommend putting any around the intake ports when you put it back together. A little around the water jackets doesn’t hurt.

    Yes it could. Right now the electrode is probably not even in the combustion chamber.

    I agree I want to get something for special occasions. I’ve also been looking at the Macallens. Ever tried Aberlour? I have a bottle of the 12 and put it up there with the some of the nicer Glenlivets in taste and smoothness.

    I have never tried the GL 12 Illicit still. Currently I have the 14, 15, and the Nadurra. I’ve also had the 12, Founders Reserve, Caribbean, and the 18. Of all of The Glenlivet the 15 is my top choice.

    If your car is tuned you don’t need a calibrated MAF meter for the 24s. Just have the tuner update your injector information in the tune.

    Ford put 24s in the Cobra that had the same heads and intake as your 347. So you should definitely upgrade them to at least 24s. If you think you might put better heads and intake on it in the future consider 30s so you don’t have to buy parts twice.

    I doubt it will help much at all. E cams are known for low speed drivability issues.
