    ugh....looks like it might be rebuild time...

    had a similar prob......took a afternoon and threw a set of valve seals in it......after about 20 mile prob went away comkpletly.....dont know that will fix your prob but is a cheap check

    JMS! if you don't plan on having it tuned on a dyno, I highly recomend them, they will want a bunch of info from you, but they do a great job. fixed all my drivability probs and such.

    Odd question about a line lock?

    from my experiance with a line lock, the battery would take a beating too......those solenoids pull some juice, not a huge amount, but enough.

    Hmmmmm......well oil pressure looks ok but that dosnt always mean anything either. I would get like a stethoscope or the like and see if you can isolate where the noise is.....if its coming from the pan I would pull the motor and take a look. You dont want to wipe out the crank or put a rod...

    knock could be a number of things......where is the noise coming from,on top or does it sound deeper? what kind of oil pressure does it carry?does it knock worse under load? need more info.......good luck :D

    rod bolts you really should have them done by a machine shop, the rods should be re-sized when you change the bolts.

    distributor A small piece of advice.....when you pull the dist out,pull it as straight up as possible and then look down hole to make sure oil pump drive didnt fall out of pump.....dosnt usally happen but it can.
