    thinking of doing this. Will a thunderbird 5.0 car serve as a good starting point? yes the trannies are different. I know that A4LD for the 2.3s and AOD for the 5.0 cars. What else would I need? I know the thunderbird is a low output 5.0 thats easily changed.

    hahaha nothing to do with getting old. I am only 23. I am not leaving forever just kind of restructuring (sp¿ its almost 4am) I guess you could say. Still debating on whether or not to sell the custom manifold we just bought or keep it as an excuse to get another mustang. (late fall most likely)

    I see your reasoning... But since you made such a large jump in tire size. from one real far off tire size to basically another its hard to say. But I will say this. Your most likely not any faster than a stock tired car. My 89 Coupe came with 195/70/14's it now has 215/60/15's on it...
