    When did Mustangs have t-tops?

Late '80 to early '88 had them and yes they will twist and flex alot. They were also prone to leakage. Every one I ever had would always leak right where your butt would sit too.

    Fender door gap..?

Looks like the fender has to be adjusted back some. Sometimes when the door hinges wear it causes that but that fender is pretty far away from the windshield even. Was the car ever apart or wrecked before ??

Can you get a KC with the older clutch setup ?? If it is stock I would just use a RAM kit.

FAILED EMISSIONS! Have a few questions...

I live in upstate NY and I just took mine it with no cats and no smog pump. They beeped the horn, checked the lights, and took the front wheel off to look at the brakes. Then they put a sticker on. I'm glad I dont live where you guys do.

Checked the Numbers guess what I found....

I had a titanium frost '91 LX 5.0 and I've seen a few around. It may be a more desireable color like black or red but I wouldnt think it would add anything to the value. A car is only worth what people will pay for it.

    Engine Mount Removal??

Un-bolt the mount where it meets the K-member and jack up the engine. That will give you the room to turn some wrenches.

    mysterious oil leak.. need advice

When the car isnt running all the oil is sitting in the bottom of the pan. When it runs oil is running against the gasket so it leaks out. Park your car nose up on an incline or jack the front up, I'd bet it would come pouring out then.

SEFI 5.0?? What needs to be changed to drop it into a fox?

I never realized that jumping the pins on the connectors would create so many problems. Makes sense though and I never thought about it. Great info. How do you get the computer re-programed to run a non-HO motor though ??

IMO, if it is stock internals then just run 87.

    Throttle Stuck Wide Open!!

If the pistons didnt shoot out through the hood then I'm sure it was fine. My brother had a crappy Grand Marquis with a 5.0 that was going to the junk yard so we tried to blow up the engine. We held the pedal to the floor for like 5 minutes before it went and i think the only reason it did was...

    mysterious oil leak.. need advice

It wouldnt be an oil plug because it would leak down inside the bell housing. You would have to pull the tranny and flywheel out to get to it. It really sounds like its coming from the rear of the pan gasket. Also, some of these aftermarket pans dont line the gaskets up quite right with the...

    Painting without removing bumpers?

I learned my lesson from previous painting attempts and here is what I learned the hard way. 1. Always use a flex agent when painting the urethane bumpers. If it starts chipping and cracking after it is painted the only thing you can do is to strip the paint off the whole thing and try...

    mysterious oil leak.. need advice

Either one would only really leak when it is running. Is the oil running down the front of the dust shield or behind it? The pan gasket tends to leak down the front and the rear main will leak down behind it.

    mysterious oil leak.. need advice

Definitely the pan gasket. Something may have slipped when you put it back together. Did you use the one-piece pan gasket ?? The rear main would seep but I have never seen them make a huge puddle. Better to pull the pan off first then to yank the whole tranny and find out it was the pan all...

Got a main seal leak. Help me out.

When you replace the seal you may also want to get a sleeve to go over the crank. It helps it to seal better. They cost $10 and the tool to install it costs $10 but you can just take the tool back after you put it in. I just did it to mine and it worked great. May want to get a teflon seal...
